Two Turks appeal to court for considering issue banning Azerbaijanâ€™s flag in Bursa stadium

Residents of Konya, employee of State Water Department Mehmet Karakaya, 43, and Celalettin Guler, 29, appealed to Bursa court #2 and wanted the decision of Bursa executive power to be cancelled immediately.

Karakaya said they want the flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey to be raised together in Turkey-Armenia match.
â€œThe decision of Bursa executive power hurt our pride and national feelings. I think this is a wrong step with respect to our Azerbaijani borders. If the court passes a decision favoring us, I will go Turkey-Armenia match with the flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey,â€ he said.

Karakaya and Gulerâ€™s lawyer Ahmet Gurol Shaban underlined that their suit is very important.
â€œWe think this decision hurt our Azerbaijani brothers. If the court passes decision in favor of us, the flags of Turkey and Azerbaijan will be hoisted in Bursa Ataturk stadium,â€ he said.
