Devlet Bahceli: â€œLet them not forget that Azerbaijani flag is in the Turkish parliamentâ€

Bahceli addressed this issue in his speech at the parliament faction meeting, APA reports. He said there was no sign in the protocols that Armenians leave genocide claims, mourn on Turkish diplomats killed by Armenian terrorist organization ASALA and promise to withdraw from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan. â€œThe Prime Minister Erdoganâ€™s words that the protocols will not be approved until the Armenian withdrawal from the Azerbaijani lands have no legal force. The Prime Minister misleads the nation trying to introduce it as a pre-condition. If Armenian withdrawal from Karabakh is important for AKP, why they didnâ€™t include it in the protocols? We closed the borders for the reason that the Azerbaijani region of Nagorno Karabakh was occupied. What progresses were made for the opening of borders? How will we justify before our Azerbaijani brothers? The text of these protocols was dictated to the AKP government from the outsideâ€.

Bahceli said authorities of Bursa City tried to prevent the citizensâ€™ protests before the football match between the Turkish and Armenian national teams. â€œThey will not allow the Azerbaijani flag in the stadium not to hurt the Armenians. Let them not forget that the Azerbaijani flag is in the Turkish parliament today. The selection of the audience before the match shows AKP governmentâ€™s weaknessâ€.

Bahceli said they would protest the protocols at the parliament.
