Azerbaijan, Korea hold political consultations

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Ministry held second round of political consultations in Seoul, press service of the Foreign Ministry told APA. Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov met with his Korean counterpart Kwon Chong-rak and deputy minister of trade Lee Jong-yun. Khalafov also met with the Azerbaijan-Korea interparliamentary working group and president of Korean International Cooperation Pak De-won.

The political and economic cooperation, as well as opportunities for the cooperation in energy, natural resources, IT, construction, tourism and agriculture fields were focused during the consultations.

The parties emphasized the necessity to develop relations in the fields of culture, education and scientific research as well.

They also discussed the regional and global security issues.
