The dialogue between Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents have intensified within the past two years and some results may be achieved by the yearend,” French ambassador to Azerbaijan Gabriel Keller said in the discussions on France-Azerbaijan relations held in the Center for Strategic Studies under Azerbaijani President, APA reports.
“The president held several meetings last year. The co-chairs created atmosphere of confidence between the presidents, this is a good result. It is very difficult to reach peace agreement for the settlement of the conflict, it requires time. Some results may be achieved by the yearend,” he said.

The ambassador said France being co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group does its best for the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Answering the questions of the participants Gabriel Keller said France supports Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.
“We support Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, this is the position of France. We also consider that three principles should be taken into consideration in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. These are the principles of territorial integrity, self-determination and non-use of force,” he said.
