Elmar Mammadyarov receives copies of credentials of Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan

Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the credentials of the newly-appointed Italian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mario Baldi, Foreign Ministryâ€™s press service told APA. Mario Baldi gave information about himself and noted that he was following the ongoing processes in the region when he worked in Italian embassy in Russia.

The ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the level of Italy-Azerbaijan relations and said he will do his best to extend the relations in all spheres.

Elmar Mammadyarov congratulated Baldi on his new appointment. He underlined the expediency of using the broad opportunities to extend Azerbaijan-Italy relations. They discussed prospects of bilateral relations, priorities of Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign policy, regional issues and Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict. Elmar Mammadyarov gave information about Azerbaijanâ€™s position on the settlement of the conflict.
