Armenian Foreign Ministry: The borders will open two months after the ratification of the “Protocol on the development of bilateral relations”

Baku – APA. Armenia and Turkey have agreed to establish diplomatic relations from the day of signing of the “Protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations”. APA reports quoting RIA Novosti that according to Armenian Foreign Ministry, the borders will open, working group will be established to prepare the action plan of the intergovernmental commission and the specialized commissions two months after the ratification of the “Protocol on the development of bilateral relations”. Three months after the protocol comes into force the action plan of the intergovernmental commission and its specialized commissions will be confirmed by the ministries. The first meeting of the intergovernmental commission will be held after the program is confirmed. The specialized commissions will start working a month after the meeting. Specialized commissions will be established on seven spheres:

-Political issues;

-Transport, communication, energy and infrastructure;

-Legal issues;

-Science and education;

-Trade, tourism and economic cooperation;

-Protection of nature;

-Historical issues with participation of Armenian, Turkish, Swiss and other international experts.
