Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Volume of gold and silver extracted from Gadabay fields was announced.
According to Anglo Asian Mining plc., the company extracted 18,165 ounces of gold in the third quarter of 2015. Total extraction during January-September made 54,103 ounces, up 25% in annual comparison. Q1 production made 17,193 ounces, Q2 18,745 ounces and Q3 18,165 ounces.
Moreover, the company extracted 216 tonnes of copper, 4,439 ounces of silver. Total copper production made 634 tonnes, silver production 10,916 ounces.
In the third quarter, 14,871 ounces of gold were sold (average price of per ounce - $1,123). During the nine months, total of 48,165 ounces of gold were sold (average price - $1,179).
As of December 31, 2015, the gold production will make 70-75 ounces.
