Moodyâ€™s: Several Azerbaijani banks with B3 rating have high risk of default

Baku. Yegane Lachinzade - APA-Economics. It’s difficult to make forecast on Azerbaijan-based banks’ default rating, Petr Paklin, Assistant Vice President - Analyst, Financial Institution Group, Moody's Investors Service said at Moody’s Annual Credit Risk Conference.

According to him, the probability of default for banks with high rating is lower: “For example, Kapital Bank, with B1 rating, has no probability to face default. However, several banks with B3 rating have high risk of default”.
