Azerbaijani Parliament ends discussing 2016 state budget

Head of the Administrative Department of the Milli Majlis Firudin Hajiyev gave information about draft budget estimate of Milli Majlis for 2016 at the plenary meeting.

Hajiyev noted that the draft budget estimate has been prepared in accordance with the legislation and on the basis of staffing table, forecasts and contracts signed with the organizations rendering services to the engineering facilities of administrative buildings.

According to him, AZN 22,745,955 will be allocated for Milli Majlis from 2016 state budget, down AZN 1,061,139 from 2015. Hajiyev added that 71.7% of budget estimate makes wage fund and wage supplements: “As a result of purposeful policy conducted in the country, number of guests of Milli Majlis, as well as MPs’ visits to abroad and intra-country journeys increased. Therefore, AZN 1,273,900 will be allocated travel allowances in the 2016 budget estimate”.
