Azerbaijan sees 11% growth in commodity market

Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-August 2015, AZN 15.9 bln-good were sold to consumers in the retail trade subjects, up 11.3% from previous year.

State Statistical Committee says AZN 49.9% of the sold products fell to share of food products, drinks and tobacco products, 50.1% – to share of non-food products. Share of non-food products rose 1.3 percentage points.

E-retail trade turnover soared 2.0 times to AZN 8.2 mln. 96.5% of e-trade turnover made non-food products.

Catering turnover soared 16.7% to AZN 644.9 mln.
