The United Nations, the World Bank and the European Union are jointly preparing a development strategy for the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, said Nazim Mammadov, National Project Coordinator of the UN Development Program during 5th International Scientific Conference of Economics and Management Researchers (ISCEMR-2023), APA-Economics reports.
According to him, three regions have been selected - Fuzuli, Jabrayil and Ağdam zones.
Nazim MAmmadov noted thatthe document consists of 4 parts, one of which covers energy, alternative energy, and energy efficiency issues.
"This will be quite a big project. We will present it to the government by November," Nazim Mammadov said.
