Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar expands in AI and environmental auditing, said Assistant President for Performance and Compliance Control at the State Audit Bureau of Qatar, Jassim Abdulaziz Al Mannai, APA reports.
He praised the ASOSAI event hosted by the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts and emphasized the growing cooperation between the supreme audit institutions (SAIs) of the two countries.
“First of all, I thank the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts for this high-level organization. This meeting is not only a platform for bilateral cooperation but also a part of diplomatic relations. Here, we are exchanging experiences on artificial intelligence and environmental auditing, as these two areas will be top priorities in the future work of SAIs,” said Jassem Almannai.
He noted that AI will significantly contribute to improving the quality and efficiency of audit activities in the future: “We believe AI will become one of the main tools for auditing. Of course, there will be some challenges, but international meetings like this are extremely useful for sharing those challenges and learning about possible solutions.”
Almannai added that several technical trainings have already been conducted and that there are plans to sign a memorandum of understanding or other formal agreements with Azerbaijan in the future: “We have plans for mutual benefit agreements. Inshallah, these relations will continue to grow.”
