Positive balance of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover decreased by almost 24%

In January-August of 2023, Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to USD $35 505.18, which is 1,1% more compared to the same period of the last year, APA-Economics reports citing the State Customs Committee.

In the last year, Azerbaijan's export made up USD $24 354.57, decreasing by 7,2%, while its import reached USD $11 150.61, increasing by 25,7%.

Although there was a positive balance of 13,203.96 dollars in the foreign trade turnover, this was less 24% compared to the same period of the last year.
