“Currently, there is no bank in Azerbaijan that has a serious problem. The key financial indicators of banks are quite normal, there are no serious risks,“ Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov told a press conference held by the Bank on defining the parameters of the interest corridor, APA-Economics reports.
"Closing a bank is not a trend. Our main goal is to contribute to financial stability and economic growth.
If there is a financial institution, bank, or insurance company that will harm financial stability, they are first warned, and the shareholders are addressed about it. If the deficiencies are not eliminated, its activity can be reviewed," the CBA chairman added.
