A bank license № 248 granted to the Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan dated June 30, 2005, has been canceled on the basis of an appeal of National Bank of Pakistan with a Decision of Board of Central Bank of Azerbaijan dated October 11, 2022, CBA told APA-Economics.
The appeal of the National Bank of Pakistan on the voluntary cancelation of the bank license of Baku branch comes from the decision adopted within the framework of the commercial strategy of National Bank of Pakistan on withdrawal from financial markets of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
