The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has updated its forecast on the production of gross domestic product (GDP) in Azerbaijan, according to IMF's report, APA-Economics reports.
IMF has decreased its economic growth forecast for Azerbaijan by 0,5% to 2,5% compared to its April forecast.
The Fund forecasted the same rate of growth in 2024 and 2028, which is 2.5%. This is 0.1 point less than the previous forecast.
The economic growth forecast of the IMF is higher than the forecast of the Azerbaijani government.
