High energy prices create additional financial opportunities for restoration of Azerbaijan's Karabakh - Deputy Minister

Although increases in commodity prices, rise in transportation-logistics costs, increase in inflation rates, and deterioration of the economic situation in some countries that are trade partners of Azerbaijan are the key risk factors, the emerging situation has created wide opportunities for Azerbaijan at the same time, said Azerbaijan’s Deputy Economy Minister Sahib Mammadov at the presentation ceremony of the report of Global Economic Prospects, APA-Economics reports.

“Due to high prices in the world energy carriers market, it is also necessary to mention factors such as obtaining a large amount of income and on account of these incomes creating additional opportunities for financing the strategic priorities in the field of socio-economic development of the country, including the restoration of territories liberated from occupation,” added Deputy Minister.
