Fitch Solutions (FS), a company belonging to the Fitch Group, has lowered its inflation forecast for Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports citing the company's country report.
FS has again lowered its inflation forecast for 2025 from 4.0% to 3.5%, and its forecast for 2026 from 4.4% to 4.2%. In other words, Fitch Solutions has reduced its inflation expectations by 0.5% points and 0.2% points, respectively.
Note that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan has predicted inflation in the country at 5.5% for 2025 and around 3.8% in 2026.
