“Membership in the ASOSAI Board of Directors is both a trust and a responsibility for us,” said Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts, speaking at the 62nd meeting of the ASOSAI Board of Directors in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
He said that holding the event in Baku is a matter of pride and responsibility for Azerbaijan. He emphasized that the Chamber of Accounts attaches special importance to the study and application of international experience, strengthening the exchange of knowledge and information, as well as the development of regional cooperation. Vugar Gulmammadov noted that being elected to the ASOSAI Board of Directors is both a trust and a responsibility for more active participation in the future.
The Chairman added in his speech that expanding the exchange of knowledge and experience between supreme audit institutions will create conditions for a more systematic establishment of cooperation. He also shared his views on the public financial management reforms implemented in Azerbaijan and the importance Azerbaijan attaches to international cooperation.
