Azerbaijan's trade turnover with Georgia in the first 5 months of 2025 amounted to $330 million, which is 20 percent more than in the same period last year, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Maka Bochorishvili, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
The minister noted that this positive tendency is expected to continue until the end of the year.
Jeyhun Bayramov noted that Azerbaijan is active in the Georgian economy at both the state and company levels, and that Azerbaijan is one of Georgia's main investors. The minister added that Azerbaijan has invested $3.6 billion in Georgia to date.
Jeyhun Bayramov noted that attention was also paid to the Black Sea submarine power project during the meeting, that a number of Central Asian countries, especially Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, have expressed their intentions to join this project, and that work in this direction has already begun.
