Positive dynamics were observed in the execution of Azerbaijan's state budget in January-August 2026, the Ministry of Finance told APA-Economics.
It was noted that during this period, requests related to treasury operations were processed quickly and without errors in accordance with legislative requirements, while more than 864,000 payment orders were executed by treasury bodies in a timely manner and in full.
In January-August of this year, state budget revenues amounted to AZN 26,486.5 million, exceeding the forecast by AZN 780.2 million, or 3.0%.
Within state budget revenues, receipts through the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy amounted to AZN 12,619.1 million, exceeding the forecast by AZN 900.1 million, or 7.7%. Receipts through the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy amounted to AZN 37.7 million, exceeding the forecast by AZN 7.3 million, or 23.8%, while other receipts amounted to AZN 462.5 million, exceeding the forecast by AZN 77.1 million, or 20.0%. Transfers from the State Oil Fund amounted to AZN 8,559.0 million, with the forecast fulfilled by 100%.
At the same time, receipts through the State Customs Committee amounted to AZN 4,326.9 million, while revenues from paid services provided by organizations financed from the state budget amounted to AZN 481.3 million.
State budget expenditures amounted to AZN 22,770.6 million in January-August, which was AZN 462.5 million, or 2.1%, more than in the corresponding period of last year.
In January-August 2026, consolidated budget revenues amounted to AZN 32,799.6 million, while expenditures amounted to AZN 26,967.5 million.
