In January-June of current year, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover was equal to USD 26 166.41 mln, which is 5,4% more than the corresponding period of previous year, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
In the last year, exports across the country decreased by 2.8% and amounted to USD 17967.95 million. On the contrary, import increased by 29% to USD 8 198.46 million.
Although a positive surplus of USD 9 769.49 mln was created in the foreign trade turnover, it was 19.4% less than in the same period last year.
