Currently, 5 Azerbaijani fintech companies have entered foreign markets, chairman of the Azerbaijan Fintech Association (AzFina) Ruslan Talibov told reporters, APA reports.
He noted that until now, when foreign investors or our companies want to enter foreign markets, the market participants of those countries are interested in whether we have such legislation. After the adoption of the law, a serious push is expected in the sector: "Currently, the CBA is preparing regulations on licensing. In this process, we are closely cooperating."
"We have invited employees from the fintech association of Georgia, Kazakhstan and Israel to "Baku Fintech Forum 2023". Here we exchange ideas. Our main goal is to contribute to the development of this sector in our country, and to contribute to the development of our companies operating in this sector, gradually reaching the regional and then the global level," added R. Talibov.
