Azerbaijan to increase healthcare expenses by 11,5 percent

The allocations from state budget in 2023 for healthcare have been announced in draft law “on state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2023”, APA reports.

According to the document, allocating AZN 1 906 389 453, 0 to healthcare is predicted.

This figure is 11,5 percent more compared to 2022 (AZN 1 708 797 316).

The document reads that AZN 1 802 885,0 will be allocated to the polyclinics and outpatient clinics, AZN 171 384 285, 0 to the hospitals, AZN 2 517 963, 0 to the researches in the healthcare field, AZN 1 730 684 320,0 to the programs and other services in the healthcare field, as well as AZN 1 263 820 170,0 to the compulsory health insurance fund.
