The sale of passenger automobiles produced in Azerbaijan will be exempt from value-added tax (VAT), it was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Tax Code, which was put to the discussion at a meeting of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) held on June 16, APA reports.

According to the draft, sales of domestically produced passenger automobiles will be exempt from VAT for 10 years from May 1, 2023.
