An "e-mühasibat" information system will be established in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
This was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law "On Accounting" discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) held today.
According to the draft law, the "e-accounting" information system of the body (institution) determinated by the relevant executive authority, ensures electronic submission of financial reports to be submitted by accounting entities to the body (organization) determined by the relevant executive authority in accordance with the Law "On Electronic Signature and Electronic Document", placement of official texts of international standards stipulated in this Law published in the Azerbaijani language, provides links to electronic texts of legal acts regulating accounting published in the State Register of Legal Acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan, accounting software and educational information for use by accounting entities.
The draft law proposes the electronic maintenance of accounting in budgetary organizations and the implementation of the "e-accounting" information system to ensure electronic accounting.
The draft law was put to a vote and accepted in the third reading.
