Azerbaijan to apply tax and customs concessions for the production of demining equipment and armored clothing

From March 1, 2023, all types of machinery, equipments, and technical devices, their spare parts, personal armored suits, tools, explosives and pyrotechnics, technologies, equipments, component parts, and raw materials for their creation and (or) production, as well as the importation of the mine detection dogs, are exempt from tax for 5 years as a part of the demining and clearance of the unexploded ordnance, explosive devices, and other explosive remnants in the de-occupied territories, as well as other territories affected by the war and military operations, it was reflected in the proposed amendment to the Tax Code, which was discussed at today's meeting of the Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis and recommended to the plenary session of the Parliament, APA reports.
