Azerbaijan reveals amount of funds spent on the restoration of liberated territories in the first half of 2025

In the first half of 2025, 38.8 percent of the annual allocated funds — amounting to 1,552.4 million manats — were utilized based on cash order documents submitted by contracting organizations for relevant projects aimed at the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Finance.

It was noted that 1,353.6 million AZN of this amount was directed to financing infrastructure projects (1,058.2 million AZN for the design, construction, and reconstruction of highway infrastructure, 239.5 million AZN for the design and construction of new residential complexes, 33.7 million AZN for the preparation of design and estimate documents for the construction of main water lines, waste and rain collectors and facilities, 20.5 million AZN for the organization of the activities of Industrial Parks, as well as the creation of infrastructure in their territory, and 1.7 million AZN for the provision of external electricity to settlements in the liberated territories), 182.0 million AZN for financing social projects focused on education, healthcare, culture, and sports, and 16.8 million AZN for expenses on demining activities.
