A new initiative in the legal and business environment of Azerbaijan — in order to promote compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory norms, the Public Union “Compliance Association” was registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 10, 2025, APA-Economics reports.
The main goal of the association is to promote the application of advanced practices in the field of compliance, to support the development of a compliance culture for effective ethical management and risk management in various sectors, and to increase the potential of professional personnel.
The association was founded by experts Kamal Abdullayev, Almaz Musayeva, and Leyla Salimzadeh, who are known for their extensive experience and professional skills in the field of compliance.
The Board of Directors of the Association was formed from a staff based on extensive experience, strategic vision, and professional decision-making in various sectors of the economy.
The Public Union “Compliance Association” plans to soon hold public events, trainings, and educational projects related to its activities towards building a strong ecosystem in the field of compliance.
