Azerbaijan will see government debt/GDP ratio at 6% next year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. The government debt/GDP ratio is predicted to be 5.9% in Azerbaijan in 2009, compared to 6% in 2008, said the October 2008 IMF Regional Economic Outlook: Middle East and Central Asia.
Azerbaijan will rank the 7th in terms of the government debt/GDP ratio among 30 region countries in both 2008 and 2009. Libya is expected to top the list with zero debt.
