Commission established on tightening of social protection of military servicemen holds its first meeting

According to Ministry of Finance, chairman of commission, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov spoke about the purposes and targets arising from order. He noted that, this order will provide the military servicemen serving for 20 years perfectly, with houses on the account of budget.
Sharifov says although there were provisions on tightening of social protection and improvement of housing conditions in the law on Status of military servicemen come into force on January 1, 1992, it was impossible to practice this: â€œReal financial opportunities of the state were not estimated correctly when the order was signedâ€.

The list of servicemen to be provided with the apartments was discussed at the meeting.

Commission decided to take the military post, military rank, service place, real military service term and other factors into consideration.

At the same time, Ministry of Defence must submit the information about servicement meeting the factors to the commission.
