AzÉ™rbaycan SÉ™naye SÄ±ÄŸorta sees 30% rise in revenues, last year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. AzÉ™rbaycan SÉ™naye SÄ±ÄŸorta collected AZN 6.694 mln-insurance premiums in 2011, up 30% compared to last year.

Payments on insurance risks rose 7.7% to AZN 1.802 mln. Revenues on voluntary insurance types increased by 33% to AZN 6.137 mln, on compulsory insurance types soared 3.4% to AZN 556.864 mln.

AZN 2.725 mln was spent to â€œCargo (transport) insuranceâ€, AZN 1.510 mln â€“ â€œInsurance of property from fire and other risksâ€, AZN 908,000 â€“ â€œMedical insuranceâ€.

AZN 1.787 mln was spent to voluntary insurance types, AZN 14.464 mln on compulsory insurance types. Last year, the most funds was spent to â€œCargo (transport) insuranceâ€ (AZN 741.772 thousand), â€œMedical insuranceâ€ (AZN 741.089 thousand) and â€œInsurance of property from fire and other risksâ€ (AZN 135.487 thousand).

Remind that, AzÉ™rbaycan SÉ™naye SÄ±ÄŸorta has been in operation since 1996. It operates on 22 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance types.
