87% of crediting in Azerbaijan falls on share of Baku

Baku. Ali Ahmadov – APA-Economics. 87.2% of loans given in Azerbaijan fall on share of the capital. CBA told APA that as of December 1, 2011, the volume of total loan portfolio of credit organization operating in the country made AZN 9,852.786 mln. AZN 8,592.016 mln or 87.2% were granted to facilities in Baku. The total amount of loans given to 10 economic areas in the regions made AZN 1,260.770 mln (12.8%).

Most of credits (AZN 279.896) were granted to the zones in Absheron economic area, AZN 279.617 mln – lowland economic area, AZN 268.531 mln – Ganja-Gazakh economic area. AZN 116.974 mln – Lankaran, AZN 102.208 mln – Shaky-Zagatala, AZN 100.398 mln – Guba-Khachmaz, AZN 68.722 mln – Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, AZN 31.591 mln – Upper Shirvan, AZN 10.713 mln – Upper Karabakh.

The least credit (AZN 2.121 mln and 0.02%) was given to Kalbajar-Lachin economic region.

30.9% loans granted to Baku were short-term, 69.1% - long-term. These figures made 35% and 65% on the regions, respectively.
