Crediting in economy rises 8% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of December 1, 2011, total amount of crediting in Azerbaijanâ€™s economy made AZN 9 852.8 mln, up 8.4% compared to last year.

33% of credits were given to households.

Share of credits directed top trade and service sphere made 29.3%, transport and communications â€“ 3.9%, industry and production â€“ 6%, energy, natural resources â€“ 3.2%, agriculture and processing â€“ 4.9%, construction and property sector â€“ 7.9%, other spheres â€“ 0.5%.

As of December 1, AZN 3 093.9 mln or 31.4% fell on share of short-term loans, AZN 6 758.9 mln or 68.6% - long-term loans.

The state bank lent AZN 3 272.3 mln to the economy, private banks â€“ AZN 6 329.0 mln, non-banking organizations â€“ AZNJ 251.5 mln.

AZN 636.7 or 6.5% of crediting fell on share of overdue credits.
