Azergarant gets 45% rise in premiums year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Azergarant has collected AZN 1.204 mln insurance premiums during January-November, 2011, up 45% from year earlier.

Company says the payments on insurance risks rose 4.3 times to AZN 305,947,000.

AZN 740,381,000 of premiums came from voluntary insurance types, AZN 463,372,000 – from compulsory types. Besides, AZN 245,809,000 was paid on voluntary insurance types, AZN 60,137,000 – on compulsory insurance types.

Most f premiums came from Personal Accident and Diseases Insurance (AZN 415,684,000), compulsory insurance of civil responsibility of vehicle owners (AZN 438,108,000) and Vehicle insurance (AZN 177,674,000).

Most of payments went to Personal Accident and Diseases Insurance (AZN 89,324,000) and compulsory insurance of civil responsibility of vehicle owners (AZN 48,456,000).

Remind that, Azergarant has been in operation since 1993. The company operates 23 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance types.
