Azerpocht and AtaSigorta enter into contract on cooperation

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Today, Azerpocht and AtaSigorta have entered into contract on rendering of insurance services. According to terms of contract, AtaSigortaâ€™s compulsory and voluntary insurance types will be suggested to the population via Azerpochtâ€™s branches and departments.

Chairman of Board of Directors of AtaSigorta Tamirlan Hajiyev says the company has developed a new business strategy: â€œAs one of the main works on this direction, the establishment of relations with AtaSigorta company is important. As a result of works, Azerpocht and AtaSigorta sign contract. I hope, it will play an important role in presentation of insurance products to the insured personsâ€.

Azerpochtâ€™s deputy Director General Subhan Kazimov noted that, development of insurance by the state, strengthening of social protection of population via support of this service type were paid attention: â€œNew compulsory insurance types are applied from this years, therefore I consider that, Azerpocht has great responsibility as a national post operatorâ€.

Remind that, AtaSigorta has been in operation since 2004. The company operates 22 voluntary and 5 compulsory insurance types.
