Azerbaijan gets 9% rise in foreign trade turnover

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s import-export operations with 147 foreign countries during January-September, totaled $29.8 billion, including exports in amount of $22.2 bln or 74.4% and imports - $7.6 bln or 25.6%, said the State Statistical Committee. Consequently, foreign trade balance made $12.8 bln

According to SSC, $ 4.6 bln or 15.6% of commodity exchange was conducted with CIS countries, $ 25.2 bln or 84.4%â€“ with other countries.

Azerbaijan exported 11.6% to CIS countries and 88.4% to other foreign countries.

The foreign trade turnover rose 9%, as well as import increased by 46%, export declined by 3.7%.
