ERC: Annual inflation exceeds 13.5% in Azerbaijan

According to report of the Center, the food products went up 3.69%, non-food products dropped 0.21% and services rose 0.05%, during the same period.

The prices in Baku rose 2.22%, in regions â€“ 1.68%. As well, food products rose 4.16% in Baku, 3.23% - in regions, non-food products decrased by 0.13% and 0.30%, services soared 0.04% and 0.06%.

In November, price of tomato rose 47,40%, the cucumber - 43,18%, sour â€“ 4.15%. Lumu cheapened 5,91%, cut wood - 4,48%, women’s dress â€“ 2.425 and other products.

In comparison with the same period last year, consumer prices in Azerbaijan rose 13.53%. During the year, prices in Baku rose 17.67% in the regions - to 9.45%. The highest inflation wa sobserved in food products (22.27%). The growth in non-food products made 3.53%, services - 4.65%. Since the beginning of the year consumer price inflation reached 11.18% in Azerbaijan. In particular, food production rose 18.08%, nonfood goods - by 2.94%, services - 4.36%.
