Role of manat as currency of collection rises in Azerbaijan

CBA told APA that the volume of manat deposits rose 39.3% year-on-year, which is 12% more than the total depositsâ€™ growth rate.

As a result, compared to November 1, 2010, share of manat deposits grew by 4.3%. Note that, in the beginning of last year, the share of manat deposits was 41.4%, and 46.5% - in the beginning of current year.

These figures reflect increase of manat depositsâ€™ share in the structure of bank deposits and so, increase the role of manatâ€™s collection currency among the population.
