CBA may increase currency purchase at the end of year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. The volume of currency purchase transactions carried out by the CBA in domestic currency market during January-November was small.

First deputy chairman of the CBA Alim Guliyev said that this figure was equal to nearly $100-120 mln.

To him, at the same time, this number may increase by the year-end. And the main reason of it is related to realization of some budget payments at the end of the year. Thus, the transfers to budget from SOFAZ are converted into manat. And this process is carried out by the biggest currency recipient in the country â€“ CBA.
