Minimum wage to increase by 65% in Azerbaijan in the coming 4 years

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The minimum wage in Azerbaijan in 2015 will increase by 65% compared to 2011, it was noted in the draft budget for 2012 submitted to the Parliament.

According to the document, though the the minimum wage for 2011 in Azerbaijan was approved at AZN 85, this indicator is expected to increase by 10% to AZN 93.5 in 2012, in 2013 â€“ AZN 120.2, in 2014 â€“ AZN 127.7, in 2015 â€“ AZN 140.

Note that, the cost of living in 2012 will amount to AZN 108, in 2013 â€“ AZN 120.2, in 2013 â€“ AZN 127.7, in 2015 â€“ AZN 135.1.
