NBC Bank sees 22% growth in assets year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based NBC Bankâ€™s assets made AZN 58.276 mln, up 22% compared to last year.

During the reporting period, loan portfolio rose 23% to AZN 49.953 mln, consumer loans soared 7.3% to AZN 38.513 mln, loans given up to 12 months increased by 2.1 times to AZN 15.009 mln, loans issued for a period exceeding 12 months dropped 4.3% to AZN 34.945 mln, overdue credits decreased by 40% to AZN 3.037 mln, loans issued for a period exceeding 12 months

Deposit portfolio extended 2.1 times to AZN 19.111 mln, population deposits rose 2.2 times to AZN 17.386 mln, term deposits increased by 2.2 times to AZN 17.779 mln, demand deposits rose 37% to AZN 1.332 mln.

Total capital of the bank rose 4.8% to AZN 18.110, authorized capital increased by 2% to AZN 16.390 mln.

Note that, total incomes of the bank within last year decreased by 13% to AZN 5.899 mln, expenses â€“ 18% to AZN 5.510 mln. Consequently, profit of the bank made AZN 389 thousand, up 4.5 times from a year earlier.

Remind that, NBC Bank started to operate in December of 1992. It operates 8 branches, 9 ATMs and 44 POS-terminals across the country.
