State Committee for Securities says the growth rate of government securities market was 3.4 times higher than the rate of growth of the corporate securities market.
During the reporting period, the volume of transactions in the primary and secondary markets of government bonds has increased in comparison with the figures for the corresponding period last year by 4%. The weighted average yield of government bonds with a period of one month increased from 1.36% to 1.46% in three months - from 1.61% to 2.3%, six months - from 2.01% to 2.99% yield government bonds and callable maturity of one year was 4%.
During the reporting period, primary and secondary markets of the Central Bank notes increased by 4.4 times and 2.7 times, amounting to AZN 492 mln. Despite the fact that the yield of notes of the Central Bank since the beginning of the year declined for the second quarter, it increased by 1.3 times.
