Inflation process restored in Azerbaijan

â€œAfter the deflation lasting since April of current year, despite price rise on the three groups in august, price increase of consumer goods dropped 0.2% to 8.5%â€, told the committee.
In August, price of beef, mutton, sausage, fresh fish, eggs, butter, sunflower and corn oils, lemon, chestnuts, herbs, cucumbers, green beans, beet, carrot, garlic, onion, sugar and granulated sugar rose.
At the same time, price of some products went down - flour, buckwheat, banana, apple, pear, plum, peach, watermelon and melon, grapes, cabbage, tomato, pepper, eggplant, potatoes.
Price of non-food products rose in August - clothing and footwear, building materials, paint, varnish, parquet, wallpaper, wood, sawdust and wood-fiber boards, brick, laminate flooring, kitchen furniture, bedroom furniture and living room furniture, window panes fell , hardwood floors, concrete, washing machines, etc.
Prices of some products went down - window glass, parquet floors, cement, household equipment washing machine, etc.
Last month, international air passenger tariffs also rose during August.
