Amrah Sigorta gets decline in premiums

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Amrah Sigorta has collected AZN 331.567 mln insurance premiums during January-July, 2011, down 47% from a year ago.

Company says most of premiums came from Vehicle insurance (AZN 181.567 thousand), Property Fire Insurance (AZN 91.601 thousand) and Personal Accident and Sickness Insurance (AZN 42.171 thousand).

Insurance payments dropped 21.5% to AZN, during the same period. Most of payments went top (AZN 147.545 thousand) and Property Fire Insurance (AZN 8.850 thousand).

Companyâ€™s insurance premium on voluntary insurance types made AZN 315.340 thousand, as well on property insurance types â€“ AZN 293.168 thousand, on compulsory insurance types â€“ AZN 16.228 thousand.

Note that, companyâ€™s insurance premiums have decreased since first quarter of last year.

Company says, this was caused by sharply decrease of premiums on Vehicle insurance.

Remind that, Amrah Sigorta has been in operation since 1993.
