Deka Bank increases assets by 2% from the beginning of year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of August 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Deka Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 44.840 mln, up 1.8% from the beginning of current year.

Bank says during the reported period loan portfolio rose 6.6% to AZN 41.2 mln, consumption loans increased by 6.3% to AZN 18.439 mln, deposit portfolio dropped 46.3% to AZN 9.218 mln, populationâ€™s deposits went down 28.35 to AZN 8.122 mln.

Total capital of the bank increased by 18.9% to AZN 16.751 mln, authorized capital rose 7.9% to AZN 13.417 mln.

Remind that, Deka Bank has been in operation since 1992. The bank operates 7 branches, 1 ATM and 17 POS-terminals across the country.
