Share o overdue credits reaches 6.2% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2011, the total loan portfolio Azerbaijan-based credit organizations stood at AZN 8,955.9 mln, up AZN 115.2 mln or 1.3% from year earlier, said the Central Bank of Azerbaijan. AT the same time, the loan portfolio has dropped AZN 207.5 mln or 2.3% since beginning of 2011.

Volume of overdue credits as of July 1, 2011 made AZN 557.9 mln or 6.2%-share in loan portfolio.

Increase of overdue credits is a negative performance and reflects the low payment ability of borrowers.
