Azerbaijan sees 1.1% rise in economy yearâ€“on-year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The Gross Domestic Products (GDP) reached AZN 26.5 bln, in January-July, 2011, up 1.1% or ANZ 267.9 mln from year earlier.

According to State Statistical Committee, 66.7% of GDP was produced in production spheres, as well 53.4% in industry, 73% in construction complex, 6% in agriculture.

Share of service spheres in value added made 27.4%, as well 6.2% in transport, 84% in trade and payable services, 1.7% in communication, 11.1% in social and other services. 5.9% of GDP concerned to net taxes for product and import. Per head GDP production made AZN 2,935,500 or up 13% from last year.

The value added in non-oil sector rose 8.5%, decreased by 5.9% in oil-gas sector.
