Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. The 32 deals were closed on 42 trade sessions on the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BICEX), in April, 2011. As a whole, 10 bank organizations have taken part in these operations.
BICEX said that, the volume of operations on currency made AZN 47.884 mln, down 35.8% from previous month, 46.2%% in comparison to a year ago.
The average daily turnover on BEST (Bourse E-system of Trades) reached to $ 1.391 mln, while average volume of per deal was $ 1.825 mln.
Total turnover on EUR/AZN instrument made AZN 1,940,590 and average weighted rate of EUR on this instrument was AZN 1,1415. The turnover on EUR/AZN rose 9.6 times.
Five banks- Azerbaijan Industry Bank (41.36%), Bank Standard (25.24%), Xalg Bank (17.12%), AGBank (5.73%) and Unibank (4.60%) came ahead for the amount of deals in July.
