DemirBank to pay 5% dividend to shareholders

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based DemirBank held meeting of shareholders. According to bank, strategic issues on DemirBank’s activity were discussed and decisions were passed at the meeting. Bank’s annual financial report on outcomes of 2010, results of next AZN 1 mln-emission of shares got at the shareholders meeting on June 12, 2010 were approved at the same time, decisions on increase of authorized capital by AZN 1 mln, payment of additional AZN 1mln-dividends, extension of activity of bank’s subsidiary company ADB Broker LLC in Azerbaijan’s security market and increase of authorized capital on the account of AZN 06,000 unshared profit have been passed at the meeting.

AZN 1 mln of net profit approved by PricewaterhouseCoopers international auditor company will be shared among the shareholders as dividends. Firstly, 15% will be paid on preference shares annually, said the Chairman of Bank Roman Amirjanov.

Remind that, Demirbank has been in operation since 1989.
